Project title: A blinding wine!  |  Client: Mendraka Winery |  Date: 2013

The Mendraka Txakoli (Basque white wine) has very literally risen from the ashes. After a fire gutted the farmhouse in 2010, this Basque winery is back with an improved quality wine and a label with more to it than meets the eye. In designing the new label we cleaned up the typeface and simplified the symbol. The label is printed on a titanium stock, reflecting the fermenting tanks that house this magical and award-winning wine. To add a further twist we included the name Mendraka Txakoli in Braille to cater for the blind community of wine connoisseurs.
