Title: San Telmo Museum | Client: San Telmo Museoa | Date: 2014
The San Telmo Museum’s children’s department was in need of its own, unique brand identity. Working within the corporate STM brand guidelines, we developed a new identity that appeals to a younger audience.
We held two separate creative workshops with the children. We invented a story that captured their imagination and gave them an unforgettable tour of the museum, guided by “Telmo”, a man that has lived in the museum since he was a little boy. We then held an artistic workshop that encouraged the children to create, and draw various elements that they associated with the museum.
The direct involvement of the very people that the museum is trying to reach, gave the identity authentic personality, that we were then able to transform into an iconic graphic that can be applied across a range of consumer touchpoints.
The whole process was very satisfying and fulfilling. The logo caught the attention of German publishers Gestalten, who featured it in their renowned logo publication, Los Logos 7.
