The Basque Government wants to provide young people (and the not so young) with clear and concise information and recommendations about education, housing and employment. They had seen and heard of various animation projects that we have worked on for other clients, and they approached us to put together a series of video tutorials, each addressing a specific theme. Each theme would include four or five videos.

After researching the target audience and the service the client offers, we decided upon an approach that fuses clear communication with a relevant tone of voice. We decided to give all of the videos a unified theme, based on a question-answer style motion graphics storyboard.

Motion Graphics is a technique that combines animation and graphic design. The creative result makes effective use of typography, illustration, a logo, shapes, colour, sound and film, in order to tell a story. It has been shown that 65% of people think visually, and so this is method of communicating is very apt for reaching a wide range of people.
