Over the last few AEK campaigns, we have clearly positioned what the AEK brand offers: practical Basque. Using a face to face, daily teaching technique, AEK provide their students with a clear and direct service: “Sign up to an AEK course, and you will be able to hear, understand and say all that you need to”. This claim is backed up by the fact that they have grown to include a network of 100 Basque language academies, spanning the breadth and depth of the Basque Country, helping over 50,000 people to learn Basque over the last 30 years. Taking our lead from this strategy, we based the 2015 campaign on the well known 3 monkeys sketch, but instead of a blind, deaf and dumb monkey, we offer anyone that wants to learn Basque the glasses, the microphone and the headphones, all painted with AEK orange. As a continuation of the 2014 campaign, we have collaborated once more with the actress and model Sara Cózar. The campaign was implemented using various graphical touchpoints as well as a video advert.
